On Saturday evening before the awards banquet everyone saluted the members of
the North Florida Chapter who made the 2006 National Society of Arts and Letters
Convention such a success.
Maria Bujones, widow of Fernando Bujones, accepts the National Society of
Arts and Letters’ Gold Medallion, which was presented posthumously to her husband for
a lifetime of achievement in dance. Barbara and Cleve Branscum celebrate
the occasion with her.
Nancy Brockman (Virginia/North Carolina Chapter), right, and Ruth
Albright (Bloomington Chapter), center, present a certificate of appreciation to
outgoing national president Barbara Branscum. Cleve Branscum
looks on. The beautiful certificate was hand lettered by Jeanne TassÈ.

Albright (Bloomington Chapter), who will be national president for 2006-2008.
Following that, Ruth addressed the delegates and other attendees and then gaveled the 2006
Convention to a successful close.
