the Dance Competition in Chicago was one of the most memorable weekends
of my life. Meeting prestigious members of my field as well as the future leaders of the
dance world
enhanced the experience and allowed me to grow as an artist.

Ann Taylor is the first place winner of $10,000, the National Career Award. It
was presented to her by President Reva Shiner at the Career Awards Banquet in Oakbrook, IL
in May 2000. |
Katie A. Pivarnik, from New Jersey, is the recipient of
the second place Estelle Campbell Award, presented by Ellie Taylor, National Career Award
Chairman.

Award. It was presented by Alexander Zaharias, the National Ballet Chairman. |

Jennings Meffert, from Washington, DC, was presented the seventh award, the
Lynton and Helen Caldwell Merit Award, by Helen Caldwell.
