Darius Jamal Manuel, Sixth Place, 2019 NSAL Drama Competition, University of the Arts in Philadelphia Graduate

Washington, DC — Sept. 25, 2019 – The National Society of Arts & Letters has awarded its 2019 drama competition prizes to seven winners, one of whom is Fort Lauderdale based actor, Darius Jamal Manuel. Manuel, who holds a BFA in Musical Theater from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, received the sixth-place $2,000 May Sue Talley Memorial Award.

Manuel was selected to represent the NSAL Florida East Coast Chapter nationally after winning first place in its own drama competition.
